The Jerusalem Nano Bible is considered to be the smallest Bible in the world. Contained on a silicone microchip, this version of the New Testament is about the size of a fingernail, if not a bit smaller.

The microchip measures 4.56 millimeters, or 0.19 inches, in length and height. It is I so thin that it measures at 0.18 microns, or 0.00007 of an inch thick. The book contains all 27 chapters of the New Testament.

The text can only be read with a microscope, but it has been verified as being a complete version of the Bible. The version that is used is the Greek Version of the text.

The Jerusalem Nano Bible company has stated that this chip can be used to keep Holy Scripture closer to you by placing it in jewelry or even inside of a watch.

The microchip has been sent to Guinness World Records for verification that it is now the smallest Bible.

The current holder of the title for Worlds Smallest Bible measures 1.1 x 1.3 x 0.39 inches.
